Deployment
Choose Your Deployment
Choose Vercel or Docker for your Node application.
Choose one host for your first launch. That choice tells you which database, storage, and mail service to configure.
Which Path Fits Your Product?
| Path | A good fit when | App and services |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | You want a managed Next.js deployment from Git | apps/web, Postgres, S3-compatible storage, Resend or Cloudflare Email |
| Docker | You operate a server or container platform | apps/web, Postgres, S3-compatible storage, Resend or Cloudflare Email |
Vercel provides managed Next.js hosting. Docker gives you infrastructure control and responsibility for HTTPS, networking, backups, and operations. Both use the same Web application.
Before You Deploy
- Finish Quick Start and Brand Settings.
- Prepare a production domain and separate production database/storage.
- Connect real Email and enabled Payments, OAuth, and Storage.
- Follow your host's guide, then complete the Release Checklist.
Check host quotas and service access for your account. Platform/provider costs depend on usage and enabled services.
Application Boundaries
These guides deploy apps/web, not this website's static export. Platform costs depend on your account and usage. Switching application platforms requires a separate data migration and service verification; it is not an environment-variable switch.
