Overview
The flexible Node.js edition. Deploy to Vercel or Docker and choose the services that fit your product.
Web / Flexible infrastructure
Your product. Your infrastructure.
Web is the Next.js application in apps/web. Run it on Node.js with Vercel or Docker, connect PostgreSQL, and choose S3-compatible storage and an email provider. A good fit when you want control over hosting or want to keep your existing services.
Vercel or Docker
Managed deployment or self-hosting, on the Node.js runtime.
PostgreSQL
A pooled relational database, independent of your hosting provider.
S3-compatible storage
Bring the object storage provider that fits your product.
Your email provider
Use Resend or Cloudflare Email Sending for transactional mail.
Same product foundation, different infrastructure
Both editions include authentication, billing, content, and administration. Web offers independent service choices; Web Cloudflare brings compute, database, storage, and email into Cloudflare. Payment gateways and social login still use their external providers in both editions.
Welcome to MuseMVP. You do not need to understand every package before you start building. Get a working app first, then connect only the services your product needs.
Your First Working App
Start with Quick Start. You will download the source, initialize a local database, open the app, and sign in with the included development accounts.
Make It Your Product
| Your next task | Guide | What you will finish with |
|---|---|---|
| Replace the name, logo, and homepage copy | Brand and App Settings | Your branding in the browser and public pages |
| Arrange the homepage and navigation | Customize Your Landing Page | The sections and links your product needs |
| Set the default language and edit copy | Languages and Translations | English and Chinese copy you control |
| Change colors and the signed-in workspace | Theme / App Layout | A workspace that fits your product |
Connect the Services You Need
You can explore the local app with seed accounts before configuring real mail, OAuth, payments, or storage. Set up each service when you test its corresponding feature or prepare for launch.
| Feature you want to use | Set up |
|---|---|
| Registration, email codes, password reset, contact messages | |
| Google or GitHub login | Google / GitHub |
| Subscriptions or one-time purchases | Accept Payments |
| Avatar uploads and owned asset management | Storage |
| Captcha on password recovery | Turnstile |
Keep credentials in your selected app's environment files or deployment platform. Environment Variables separates first-run values from optional integrations.
Launch Your App
Choose Vercel or Docker, follow that host's guide, then complete the Release Checklist. Check production mail, payment callbacks, storage, and authentication on your real domain.
Build Your Own Features
Use Project Structure to find the right files and Defining Routes to connect a feature from database to UI. AI Collaboration explains the included agent workflows.
